December 2008 Semex Challenge

The December 2008 Semex On Farm Challenge saw 33 teams enter nationwide. Judge Arthur Berry was extremely impressed with the quality of the entries and he and Valma enjoyed the opportunity to catch up with members.

Special mention of Tony & Maureen Luckin (Leithlea Jerseys) in New Plymouth who placed fourth in the National Team, second in the Mature Cow conformation with Leithlea Spa Trixie EX4 and third with Leithlea Deacon Jade EX2 in the Two Year old conformation.

Please Note: Due to a data punching error one of the AC & NL Walford entries was incorrect and once corrected changed the National Team placings, moving them from fourth place to second.  Please accept our sincere apologies.

 

NEWSFLASH

From 2009, the winners of the Semex On Farm Challenge will be announced early the following year at the New Zealand Dairy Event Week held at Mansfield Park, Feilding.

The 2009 Semex On Farm Challenge will be judged and completed by December 2009 and the winners announce in January 2010 at ht New Dairy Event Week 2010.
