Out the back of Dannevirke lies a different and interesting stud visit and sale event.

Norm and Del have farmed dairy cows, beef cattle and sheep intensively and extensively on these flats, valleys, hills and steeper stuff. Not easy on man or beast resulting in cattle fit for purpose that inevitably shift well and are generally purchased at very reasonable prices. While not a prominent herd on the national scene the individuals within it are seriously bred with much thought applied to mating decisions. The foundation females were carefully selected by Norm, a student of the breeds, and the quality of todays herd reflects this.

Milked OAD as part of a big farming operation with no fuss, you can buy here with confidence.
Twenty well-bred cows have been added to the usual offering of incalf heifers to reduce herd numbers.
