JerseyNZ Judges

JerseyNZ Judges attend a training school held annually and are certified by a JerseyNZ Judge and based on their marks, will receive a Certification from the following list. Please note that these Certification guidelines were updated in 2023, therefore any Judge Certifying from 2024 onward will be qualified under these guidelines. 

90+ Merit Judge (4-year pass)

Recommended for major shows within New Zealand or overseas

80 – 89 Senior Judge (4-year pass)

Capable of judging any show in New Zealand

70-79 Intermediate Judge (2-year pass)

Capable of judging smaller shows within New Zealand, not recommended for the major shows

<69 Associate Judge (recertification every two years)

Not recommended to judge a show on their own, but encouraged to be an Associate Judge as often as possible
