Semex On Farm Challenge

The Semex On-Farm Challenge 2026/27 is back for another big year!
The Semex National Jersey Challenge is judged on farm. At the conclusion of judging, results will be analysed and Regional Results announced approximately six weeks after receiving results at the JerseyNZ office. Presentations for National placegetters will be made at the World Jersey Conference in Hamilton in February, 2027.
Please note, the Autumn-born classes have been withdrawn from the On Farm Challenge.
Team Classes – the Fauvel Trophy will be awarded to the highest pointed cow in the National Teams Challenge and the Richard Gibson Memorial Challenge Trophy will be awarded to the overall Teams winner.
Enter for a chance to WIN Semex product vouchers:
- Regional team winners receive $100 for first place in their region
- National team winners and receiver of the Richard Gibson Memorial Challenge Trophy receive $200 for first place and $150 for second
- National Conformation winners will receive $300 for first place and $150 for second (in each class)
- Overall National Supreme Conformation winner will receive $500
- Overall National Supreme Semex Cow winner will receive $500
